As someone who enjoys listening to music like the majority of people, designing a poster and record sleeve that would best represent one of the albums by the artist Brian Eno, was an exciting task.
Brian Eno is a producer, composer & singer. Eno has had a prolific career, impacting the sound of several different bands, as well as creating his own extensive discography.

The challenge for the project was to find a way to represent the album“Reflection” in a poster. This task was tackled by listening to the album extensively as well as using various different forms of media such as mark making, photographs, text, and video. After weeks of experimenting with these different mediums a solution was found that really represented the feeling evoked by Eno’s music on the album. A greatly enlarged photograph of a blue neon sign was used to highlight the movement and the enveloping ambience that Eno’s music gives off. For the record jacket, I used the same image found on the poster but even more enlarged and slightly blurred out. For the inside sleeve, a solid dark blue was utilized while the vinyl colour chosen was white in order to tie it back to the colour used for the type.
